Rosalyn Roz Sorenson, 65, died Thursday, December 13, 2007 at MeritCare Hospital, Fargo, ND.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM, Monday, December 17, 2007 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Oklee, MN with Father John Kleinwachter presiding.

Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the church, Monday.

Rosalyn Ann Brandt was born June 12, 1942 at Crookston, MN, the daughter of Alfred Curley and Emma (Hince) Brandt. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Oklee, MN. In 1960, Roz graduated from Oklee High School.

On December, 2, 1960, Roz was united in marriage to Kenny Sorenson in Minneapolis, MN. The couple lived and worked in Minneapolis for 38 years and it was there they raised their family. They moved back to the Oklee area in 1999 and have lived there since.

Roz was a member of St. Francis Xavier Church, Oklee, as well as a member of a card club and snowmobile club. She enjoyed craft work, snowmobiling, motorcycling and was a best friend to everyone. She never met a stranger.

She is survived by husband, Kenny, Oklee, MN; a son, Mitch (LaVonne) Sorenson, Isanti, MN; 3 grandchildren, Eric, Molly and Maggie; brothers and sisters, John Brandt, Burnsville, MN, Judy (Al) Fournier, Shakopee, MN, Bill (Nancy) Brandt, Oklee, MN, Bob Brandt, Casper, WY and Dick Brandt, Brooklyn, NY; a brother-in-law, Larry Skallet, Oklee, MN; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Roz was preceded in death by parents, brother, Gene Brandt and sister, Beth Skallet.
