Rose Juneau, 95, died Friday, March 6, 2009 at Hillcrest Nursing Home, Red Lake Falls, MN.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, March 16, 2009 at 1:00 PM in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Red Lake Falls, MN with Father Chuck Huck Officiating. Burial will held at St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery at Terrebonne, MN.
Visitation will be on Sunday, March 15, 2009 at the Johnson Funeral Service in Red Lake Falls from 2 " 5 PM with a 5 PM prayer service and also one hour prior to services at the church on Monday.
Marie Rose Alba Juneau born March 16, 1913 at Terrebonne, MN daughter of Alcime and Georgianna (LaFave) Juneau. She was raised there and attended rural school. Rose worked as a housekeeper for the rectory at St. Dorothy Catholic Church and later moved into Crookston where she was a housekeeper for the catholic rectory for many years. Following Roses retirement she returned to Red Lake Falls and lived with her sister Dorothy and since 1997 she has resided at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Red Lake Falls, MN.
She was a member of AFRAN, St. Joseph Catholic Church and was a very active member of the Catholic Faith.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews including Dan (Rhonda) Juneau of Red Lake Falls, MN, (very close family member to Dan), Ramona (Harold) Champagne of New Berlin, WI, Bob (JoAnn) Juneau of Longmont, CO, Ron (Kathy) Juneau of Pueblo, CO, Mary Juneau, Blaine, MN, Marie (James) Burkhardt of Cannon Falls, MN, and Ardith Kloth, a very close friend of the family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Brothers Alcime, John, Edward and Joseph, Sisters Clara Tessier, Dorothy Juneau, , Mathilda Juneau, and infant brother Isadore. She was the last in her family to go. She will be missed very much by all who knew her. her life was towards God, family, and friends.
She has given us all good memories to last a life time with her kindness towards all. She is in Gods hands now, and with all her family forever. May the Lord watch over her and all the Juneau family who are with her now. They will be all missed very much by all who knew them.
