Rose Perreault, 103, died on Wednesday, June 19, 2002 at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Red Lake Falls, MN.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 22, 2002 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Red Lake Falls, MN with Father Tim Bushy presiding. Burial will be in St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery in Terrebonne, MN.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services on Saturday at the church.
Rose A. Charest was born on June 17, 1899 at Oklee, MN, the daughter of George and Olevine (Paquin) Charest. She attended school and grew to adulthood in Oklee. In 1926 Rose was united in marriage to Edward Perreault. The couple farmed and lived near Terrebonne, MN until Edwards death in 1976. Rose then moved to Red Lake Falls.
She was a member of the Catholic Foresters, Terrebonne Catholic Church, St. Joseph Catholic Church and Guild and St. Ann Society.
She enjoyed gardening, quilting and cooking and loved to spend time with her family and friends.
Rose is survived by one son, Gerald Perreault of Fargo, ND; two daughters: Doreen (Frank) Wiblishauser of St. Paul, MN and Marie (Anton) Jochim of Maple Grove, MN; two step daughters: Helen Arvesen of Warren, MN and Eva Raymond of Red Lake Falls, MN; 23 grandchildren; 52 great grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren; two sisters: Alvina Fischbach of Monticello, MN and Eva Charest of Oklee, MN; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward; her parents; stepdaughter, Madeline Dupont; three grandchildren: Tommy Raymond, Diane Jochim and Glorianne Dupont; one great great grandchild, Amanda Kargel; and nine brothers and sisters.
