Russell Bjerken, 69, died Monday, August 16, 2004 at his home in Thief River Falls, MN.

Russell Howard Bjerken was born April 15, 2004 at Thief River Falls, MN, the son of James O. and Alice (Grendahl) Bjerken. He was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church, Thief River Falls, MN. He grew up and attended Lincoln High School in Thief River Falls.

He was employed at Tunberg Motor Company, Thief River Falls. Russell enjoyed sports and collecting antiques.

Survived by 3 brothers, Vernon, Thief River Falls, MN, Alden, Tacoma, WA and Gordon Bjerken, Thief River Falls, MN; 2 sisters, Jeanett, Renton WA and Marlene (Arnie) Natha, Minneapolis, MN.

Preceded in death by parents; sisters, Elaine and Shirley.
