Ruth Klosterman, 81, died Sunday, January 2, 2005 at her sons home in Andover, MN with her three children by her side.

Ruth Delores Liudahl was born on November 13, 1923 in Kindred, ND. She attended school in Kindred, ND and later became a teacher.

On June 12, 1950, Ruth was united in marriage to James Klosterman in Wyndmere, ND, where they lived for eight years. They moved to Fargo, ND for four years and then to Thief River Falls, MN. Ruth taught classes from the elementary level to the high school level for 55 years. Some of the schools she taught in include, Wyndmere, ND, Barney, ND and St. Bernards, Challenger, Knox, Mark Twain and Northrup Schools all in Thief River Falls.

Ruth loved teaching, bowling, cross-stitch, sewing, bingo and especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was an avid Minnesota Wild, Twins and Viking fan. Ruth also enjoyed spending summers at Ottertail Lake.

Ruth is survived by three children: daughter, LeAnn (David) Quinn, Louisville, KY; son Kurt (Deana) Klosterman, Andover, MN; and Joseph (Anneke), Thief River Falls, MN, seven grandchildren: Cecilia and Wyatt Quinn, Conner, Nicole, and Mikayla Klosterman, Dakota and Jaymin Klosterman, sister Adeline (Al) Gedde, Fergus Falls, MN and brother Neil (Kathleen) Liudahl, Bowling Green, KY.

She was preceded in death by husband James in 1979, parents, one sister Ruth Naomi.

Burial will be 10 AM, Friday, January 7, 2005, at St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Wyndmere, ND.
