Ryan Eggerud, 37 of Thief River Falls, MN passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at his residence.

Private family visitation will be held.

Ryan Oscar Eggerud was born August 16, 1982 in Thief River Falls, MN the son of Jean and Diane (Iverson) Eggerud. He was baptized at the hospital in Grand Forks and confirmed at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls. Ryan attended Washington Elementary, Knox Elementary, Franklin Middle and Lincoln High Schools in Thief River Falls.

In 2003, a son, Kyler was born to Ryan and Taryn Hoverson. Ryan has been very proud of the things Kyler has accomplished in his life.

On February 27, 2010, Ryan was united in marriage to Stephanie Skoglund at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls.  To this union five children were born, Jaecob, Sydni, Noah, Zophi and Auggie and the family made their home between Newfolden and Thief River Falls.

Ryan worked at several different locations in the Thief River Falls and Newfolden area with his growing family, Ryan was very proud to be a stay at home dad.

He enjoyed drawing, hunting, fishing, making & building things, and most importantly loved spending time with his kids. Ryan was very outgoing but shy at the same time. He was loving and affectionate, and his family was very important to him.

Survivors include his wife, Stephanie; children, Kyler, Sydni, Noah, Zophi and Auggie; mother, Diane Eggerud; step-grandfather, Ed Van de Streek; siblings, David (Rachel) Eggerud, Tom (Amy Pittman) Eggerud and Kathy (Ryan Garner) Noreikis; mother & father in-law, Barry and Peggy Skoglund; brother & sisters-in-law, Stacy (Tim) Granum, Alyssa (Cameron "Abe") Abrahamson and Justin (CyCy Brake) Skoglund; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his son, Jaecob; father, Jean; grandparents, Oscar Eggerud, Myrtle Eggerud Van de Streek, Halvor & Florence Iverson.
