Obituary

Sally Hagl-McGlynn Red Lake Falls, MN age 51 died on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Red Lake Falls, MN with Father Chuck Huck presiding. Burial will be held at a later date. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a 7:00 PM prayer service on Monday, April 8, 2013 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Red Lake Falls, MN. Visitation will also be held for one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the church. Sally was born on July 25, 1961 in Red Lake Falls, MN the daughter of Kenneth and Rita (Huot) Hagl. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Red Lake Falls, MN. She attended school in Red Lake Falls and graduated from Lafayette High School in the class of 1979. Sally went on to take classes at Northland College in Thief River Falls and then graduated from the University of North Dakota with a degree in Elementary Education. On June 24, 1989 Sally was united in marriage to Greg McGlynn at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Red Lake Falls, MN. They lived in East Grand Forks until 2004 when they moved to Red Lake Falls. Sally worked as a Preschool teacher at East Grand Forks and Win-E-Mac and most recently worked as Division Coordinator at the ODC in Thief River Falls. She enjoyed gardening, riding her Harley-Davidson, canoeing, fishing, camping, volunteering, and spending time with her grandkids. Sally was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Red Lake Falls, Catholic Daughters, Women of Today, American Legion Auxiliary, and ABATE of MN. Survivors include her husband, Greg McGlynn; children, Paul (Aimee) McGlynn, Tom McGlynn and Mariah McGlynn; grandchildren, Cashton Kenneth McGlynn and Griffin David McGlynn; father, Kenneth Hagl; siblings, Dan Hagl, Becky (Jim) Barry, John (Theresa) Hagl, Jim Hagl, Marvin Hagl and Patty Berberena; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother, Rita; grandparents, Paul and Mabel Hagl, Ernest and Emma Huot; and mother-in-law, Mary McGlynn.
