Sandra Shuck, 48 of Thief River Falls, MN passed away Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND.

Sandra Dee Shuck was born February 26, 1968 in Butte, MT daughter of Gerald and Karen (Peterson) Johnson. The family moved to Fosston, MN where she was raised and attended school. The family also lived in Duluth and Wadena.

On May 3, 1986 Sandra was united in marriage to Terry Shuck in Wadena, MN. The couple moved to Oregon where they lived for 10 years. In February 1997 they moved back to the Fosston area. Sandra met Kerry Reese and since 2010 has lived near Thief River Falls. She was diagnosed February with stage 3 lung cancer.

Sandra enjoyed fishing, camping, canoeing, hiking and jamming to music. She had a love of animals and was an all-round great cook. She loved her family more than anything but, the grandkids were her world.

Sandra is survived by her boyfriend Kerry Reese of Thief River Falls, MN, children Josh (Amanda) Shuck of Red Lake Falls, MN and Jess (Dusty) Knutson of Oklee; grandchildren Wilder Shuck, Timothy and Kassidy Torgerson and Ashlynn Knutson: siblings Dale (Karen) Engblom of California, Shirley (Bill) Rappana of Duluth, MN, Marvin Johnson of Grygla, MN, Nancy (Joe) Bakken of Thief River Falls, MN and Thomas Johnson of Thief River Falls, MN: niece Kristy and nephews Danny, Kenny, Allen, Bob and Dylan. She is preceded in death by her parents.
