Scott Anderson, 43, of Mentor, MN died on Saturday, March 15, 2014. Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 21, 2014 at 10:30 AM at Johnson Funeral Service in Red Lake Falls, MN with Reverend Bruce Dalager Officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service on Friday. Scott Allan Anderson was born November 1, 1970 in Crookston, MN son of Leslie and Judith (Qualley) Anderson. He grew up at Mentor and attended Mentor School, when that closed he attended Fertile Beltrami High School graduating in 1990. He worked for area farmers, the last twenty years for Tim Boucher. Scott loved to tinker with things taking them apart and fixing them and putting them back together. Driving tractors and he was given the manual so he would be sure to be able to fix it. He enjoyed puzzles and board games. As a young man he spent summers trapping gophers and mowing lawns. Scott had four cockatoos and enjoyed their company. He is survived by his parents Judith Anderson of Red Lake Falls, MN and Leslie (Jeanette) Anderson of Mentor, MN siblings Craig Anderson of Red Lake Falls, MN and Jaclyn (Lee) Rondorf of Red Lake Falls, MN; nieces Akayla and Kendra Rondorf. Special Friend Theresa Braaten of Crookston, MN: grandmother Eleanor Qualley of Mentor, MN; many aunts uncles and cousins. Scott is preceded in death by his grandparents, John Qualley and Lyle and Hazel Anderson, cousin Chad Qualley.
