Sharon Diane Thygeson Deogny of Thief River Falls passed away Thursday May 16, 2024.

A graveside service will be held at Thief Lake Cemetery at 2 PM Sunday, May 19, 2024.

Sharon was born January 4,1940 at Thief River Falls to Hollis and Ida Mae (Curtiss) Thygeson. She attended Middle River High School and then went to college at UMC. She married Dean Deogny and became a stepmother to Paul, Terri, and Rick. Dean and Sharon established a thriving antique business specializing in antique cut glass.

They were married for 51 years when Dean passed away in Oct. 21,  2022. This prompted her to move to Thief River Falls to live by family.

Sharon is survived by her two beloved kitties, Willow and Sparky, three stepchildren Paul (Linda) Deogny, Terri Hegeman (Tom) of Raleigh NC. Rick Deogny (Tracy) of Portland OR. 9 step grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents Hollis and Ida Mae Thygeson, brother DuWayn Thygeson, sister Gayl Blom.
