Sharon Burnette Hasby, born July 28, 1965, passed away surrounded by the love of family and friends on August 10, 2026 at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND. Sharon lived a life marked by hard work, creativity, and deep devotion to those she loved.
Sharon was born to Jack and Sandy (Helm) Huot and was raised in Red Lake Falls, Minnesota, where she attended elementary and high school. She was baptized in the Presbyterian Church of Red Lake Falls and carried the values of faith, kindness, and compassion throughout her life.
On December 21, 1984, Sharon married the love of her life, Mark Hasby. Together they built a life centered on family and shared memories. One of Sharon's greatest joys was her son, Andrew Hasby, whom she loved dearly and was immensely proud of.
Throughout her life, Sharon held a variety of positions that reflected her strong work ethic and warm personality. She worked at the Kruse Inn in St. Hilaire, Minnesota, served as a cook at a café in Red Lake Falls, attended pull tabs at the liquor store in St. Hilaire, operated her own candy-making business, Heavenly Truffles, and as a cook at Seven Clans Casino in Thief River Falls, Minnesota.
Outside of work, Sharon found great joy in crafting and baking. Whether creating handmade treasures or sharing delicious treats with family and friends, she expressed her love through her creativity and generosity. She will be remembered for her caring heart, her dedication to her family, and the warmth she brought to those around her.
Sharon is survived by her beloved son, Andy Hasby; her aunts, Marie Burton of Joliet, Ruth (Wayne) Raymond of Rhinelander, Wisconsin, Julie Peterson of Ramsey, Minnesota, Kathy (Lee) Wold of St. Hilaire, Minnesota, and Debbie (Robert) Brooks of Silsbee, Texas; her brothers-in-law, Tim Hasby and Dale Hasby; and her sisters-in-law, Lisa Benton, Denise (John) Wayman, and Missy Iverson, along with many other relatives and friends who will cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mark Hasby; her parents, Jack and Sandy Huot; and many other beloved family members and friends.
Sharon's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her kindness, creativity, and unwavering love for her family will never be forgotten.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, August 14, 2026 at St. Hilaire Community Cemetery, rural St. Hilaire, MN. Following the service, family and friends are invited for a gathering with refreshments at St. Hilaire Community Center in St. Hilaire, MN.
