Sharon Lizotte passed away on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 surrounded by her loving family at her home in Red Lake Falls, MN.

Mass of Christian burial will be held in the spring of 2022.

Sharon Marie Lizotte was born on November 19, 1940 at Red Lake Falls, MN daughter of Lloyd and Elenore (Nelson) Philion. She was raised in Red Lake Falls where she attended school at St. Joseph Catholic School and graduated from Lafayette High School in 1958. She then attended the University of Minnesota.  She returned to Red Lake Falls and worked at Dodd's Drug.

On January 9, 1960 she was united in marriage to Francis Lizotte at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Red Lake Falls, MN. They lived near Brooks for a short time before moving into Red Lake Falls. Sharon babysat for families in the area. She was secretary at Lafayette High School for several years before going to work for Bill Muldoon Law Office, where she was employed until the time of her illness.

Sharon enjoyed reading, playing piano, puzzles, and anything with numbers. She also enjoyed going to the casino and visiting with people. She looked forward to her daily phone calls with her daughter Debbie.

Sharon is survived by her daughter Debbie Edwards of Fishers, IN; grandchildren Jonathon (Marian) Edwards of Rochester, MN and Justin (Melissa) Edwards of Elizabethtown, KY; great-grandchildren Aubree LeeAnn Edwards and Ava Grace Edwards; siblings Mikki (Cedric) Schluter of LeSueur, MN, Bill Philion of Minot, ND, Bob (Sharon) Philion of Maple Grove, MN and Steve (Bev) Philion of Red Lake Falls, MN; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her husband Francis, parents Lloyd and Elenore, step-mother Irene, step-father Sherman, sister-in-law Karen, and nephew David Schluter.
