Sharon Panek, 62, died Saturday, May 28, 2005 at Northwest Medical Center, Thief River Falls, MN.

Sharon Judy Lee was born June 4, 1942 at Grand Forks, ND, the daughter of David R. Lee and Madonna Louise (Terrian) Ordway. She grew up and attended school in Thief River Falls.

On August 27, 1957, Sharon was united in marriage to Kenneth Matthew. On June 18, 1964, she married Walter Panek. She worked at the Mint Caf, Service Master and more recently, Arctic Cat.

Sharon enjoyed wood-working, crocheting, puzzles and especially spending time with her grandson.

Survived by 4 children, Kenneth Matthew, Jr., and Keith Matthew both Thief River Falls, MN, Lori (special friend, Scott) Panek, Thief River Falls, MN and Chad Panek, Minneapolis, MN; a grandson, Zarek Hutchinson, Thief River Falls, MN; 4 sisters, Donna Horachek, Goodridge, MN, Jeanette (Ron) Varney, Minneapolis, MN, Darlene San, Las Vegas, NV and Beatrice Smith, Thief River Falls, MN; brother, Emery (Francisca) Lee, Thief River Falls, MN and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by husband, Walter, an infant son, parents, sister, Carol Killcrease and brothers, David and Roy Lee.
