Sophie T. Anderson, 88, Plummer, MN died Saturday, November 14, 2009 at Pioneer Memorial Care Center, Erskine, MN.

Funeral service will be 10:30 AM, Friday, November 20, 2009 at Johnson Funeral Service, Thief River Falls, MN with Reverend Jonathan Dodson officiating. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Thief River Falls.

Visitation will be 5 " 8 PM, Thursday, November 19, 2009 at Johnson Funeral Service, Thief River Falls, with a 7 PM prayer service and for one hour prior to the service, Friday.

Sophie T. Gunderson was born June 17, 1921.

On July 28, 1952, Sophie was united in marriage to Erling Gust Anderson at Warroad, MN. The couple made their home in Plummer, MN.

She is survived by sons: Wendell (Margie), Jackson, TN and Jon (Diane), Twin Valley, MN and daughter: Holly Anderson, Fargo, ND; 2 grandchildren: Matthew and Michael Anderson.

Sophie was preceded in death by husband Erling on April 19, 1997; parents, Andrew and Julia Gunderson (Tyndal).
