Stella Larson, 93 of Glendale AZ, formerly of Oklee, MN died on Friday, April 20, 2000 at her daughters home in Glendale. Arrangements with the Petterson Funeral Home in Oklee, MN.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 28, 2000 at 2:00 PM in Salem Lutheran Church near Oklee, MN with Reverend Robert Paulson Officiating. Burial will be held in the Salem Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church on Friday only.

Stella Magdelena Larson was born April 28, 1906 daughter of the late John and Randi (Haaven) Sorenson near Plummer, MN. She was baptized and confirmed at Salem Lutheran Church where she has been a life long member.
She graduated from Northwest School of Agriculture in Crookston in 1925. In 1929 she was married to Iver Tande, and they farmed near Oklee, MN. Iver Tande died in 1935. In 1938 she married Henry Larson and they continued to farm at the same location. The past three years she has lived with her daughter in Glendale, AZ.
Stella was known for the beautiful flowers she raised and shared with her church and community. She was active in the womans groups at Salem Lutheran throughout her adult life.
Stella was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands Iver Tande and Henry Larson; sons Robert Tande in 1935, Olaf Tande in 1946 and Thomas Larson in 1951. Two brothers Ralph Sorenson and Sydney Sorenson and sister Helga Langie.
She is survived by her daughter Linda (Rev. Lloyd) Wallace of Glendale, AZ; four grandchildren Mary Ellen Matheson of Glendale AZ, Mark Wallace of Chicago, IL, Carol Larson of Scottsdale, AZ and Paul Wallace of St. Paul, MN: and eight great-grandchildren.
