OBITUARY FOR STEVEN A. OLSON (BROSSEAU)

Steven Allen Olson (Brosseau), 26, died on Sunday April 4, 2010 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Steven Allen Olson (Brosseau) was born on January 31, 1984 in Thief River Falls, MN the son of Greg and Ann (Olson) Brosseau. He was baptized into the Lutheran faith at Trinity Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls. Steve attended Northrup Elementary, Challenger Elementary, Franklin Middle School and Lincoln High School all in Thief River Falls.

Steve worked carpentry for his father, Greg and also did carpentry for other contractors in Thief River Falls. He also worked at Rogers Conoco Station, Northern Pride, Lindholm Welding, O.D.C. and Pamida.

Steve enjoyed snowmobiling and had those long golden curls that would hang out from his helmet. He also enjoyed 4-wheeling, ice fishing, working on cars, playing any kind of sports especially football, baseball and bowling.

Steve was the proud father of Tysen (age 5) and Nevaeh (age 3). He loved spending time with his children and was very proud of them. They enjoyed trips to the park together, camping, fishing, riding the 4-wheeler and just spending time together. Steve built Tysen a bike. His kids were the twinkle in his eye.

Survivors include his children, Tysen and Nevaeh; parents, Greg and Ann Brosseau; brothers, Randy and Greg, Jr. Brosseau; grandparents, Lynn and Mary Lou Brosseau; mother of his children, Bobbie Jo Loeffler and her daughter, Belah all of Thief River Falls, MN; and numerous great aunts and great uncles, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by grandparents, Russell Olson and Annabel (Bergquist) Timm Olson.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN, with a time of sharing for family and friends at 2:00 PM.

The funeral procession will form shortly before 3:00 PM at the funeral home to take Steve to Greenwood Cemetery in Thief River Falls where services will be held at 3:00 PM with Father Rick Lambert presiding.

A time of lunch and fellowship will begin at the funeral home at 3:30 PM, all are welcome.
