Steven Wasley of Thief River Falls, MN passed away at his home in Thief River Falls on Friday, July 28, 2023.

A Memorial Service to Celebrate Steve's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN.

Steven Alan Wasley was born on November 15, 1956 in Thief River Falls, MN, the son of Harold Wasley and Esther Vick.  He was baptized in the Lutheran faith.  Steve attended school in Slinger, WI.

On November 15, 1995, Steve was united in marriage to Patty Anderson in Thief River Falls and the couple continued to make their home in Thief River Falls.

Throughout the years Steve worked as a contractor, forklift operator, and painter, but mostly he was a jack of all trades.

Steve enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking, and spending time with his grandchildren.  His neighbors and friends were like family to him.  Spending time with them was also very important to him.

He is survived by his children Kristina Wasley, Brandon Wasley, Kim Anderson, Michael Anderson, Sophia Bolter, and Thomas Bolter; several grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; sisters Val Raff, Wanda Roth, and Jodi Shrum; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife Patty; his parents; brothers, Samuel Wasley and Ray Wasley; and sister Kay Jeka.
