Obituary

Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM, Friday, January 6, 2012 at Bethany Lutheran Church in Red Lake Falls, MN. Burial will be held at Oakdale Cemetery in Crookston, MN in the spring. Visitation will be held on Thursday 5 - 8 PM with 7:00 PM prayer service at Bethany Lutheran Church in Red Lake Falls and also one hour prior to services at the church on Friday. Terry Lee Balderston was born July 30, 1981 in Ladysmith, WI son of Virgil and Mary (Wrobleski) Balderston. He moved with his family to Red Lake Falls in 1994 where he attended Lafayette High School. Following his education Terry traveled to Nevada with his sister Tammy where they lived for 3 years, he lived in New Ulm, MN for 6 years and returned to Red Lake Falls where he has resided since. Terry worked at Gemstone Masonry out of Frazee, MN. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, shopping and spending time with his family and was a member of the North American Hunting Club. Terry is survived by his children Christian Balderston and Alex Balderston of Fargo, ND and Kayliee Nephew of Crookston, MN. Special friend Heather Carlson, Mother Mary (Dale) Knutson of Red Lake Falls, MN brothers and sisters Wayne (Bernice) Balderston of Crookston, Sandy (Roger) Nelson of Thief River Falls, MN, Veronica (Leo) Balderston of Springfield, MN, Tammy (Tom) Joseph St. Hilaire, MN, John (Lisa) Balderston of Thief River Falls, MN and Lisa (Kurt) Engelstad of Grand Rapids, MN along with several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father Virgil and brothers Brian and Mike. ORGANIST: Sherry Knott CONGREGATIONAL HYMNS: "On Eagles Wings" and "Amazing Grace" PALLBEARERS: Brent Morlan, Grady Griffin, Jay Pyatt, Dallas Lee, Johnny Ramirez, Dan Erickson HONORARY PALLBEARERS: Thomas O'Hara, Brian Gagner, Rodney Pierson Terry Balderston, 30, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2011 at Sanford Medical Center, Thief River Falls, MN as the result of a motor vehicle accident.
