Tersilla Dupont, Red Lake Falls, MN, 90, passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Valley Elder Care Center, Grand Forks, ND.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at 3:00 PM at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Thief River Falls with Pastor David Jahn officiating. Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Red Lake Falls, MN.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Sunday at the Seventh Day Adventist.

Tersilla Marta Vaninetti was born May 22, 1928 in Regoledo di Cosio Valtellino Provincia di Sondrio, Italy, the daughter of Silvio and Caterina (Sutti) Vaninetti.  She was baptized in the Seventh Day Adventist Church.  She attended school in Italy through the 6 ^th grade and then started working in a material factory until the age of 21.  Her father died in 1949 and in 1951, she moved to Switzerland and in 1956 moved to Phoenix, AZ

On November 30, 1957 Tersilla was united in marriage to Don Dupont at Sedona, AZ.  The couple moved to Red Lake Falls, MN where they farmed for 10 years and then in 1967, they moved into Red Lake Falls.  Tersilla worked at Detroiter for 2 years, 14 years at the US Post Office and also worked at housekeeping, retiring in 1999.

Tersilla enjoyed quilting, knitting and crocheting.  Family was very important to her.  She was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Survivors include Roger (Cindy) Dupont, Red Lake Falls, MN; Margaret (Jerry) Tretter, Grand Forks, ND and Dario Dupont, Red Lake Falls, MN; eight grandchildren: Tracy, Nathan, Jenny, Angie, Tera, Mike, James and Marshall; great grandchildren: Jack, Shawn, Henry, Scarlett, Andre, Daniel,  Nicholas, Kamilla, Mckinley, Austin, Evie,  Thea, Payton, Jason, Diamond, Catalina, Michael, Gavin, Kira, Kindra, Michael; brother Albert (Janice) Vaninetti, Phoenix, AZ; sister Elvia Lazzarini, Flagstaff, AZ; several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by husband Don on January 16, 1998, a son Bob on August 19, 2002, parents, brother Dario Vaninetti, brother-in-law Dario Lazzarini.
