Tessie C. Stoltman-Urbanowich, 103 passed away at Oakland Park Communities, Thief River Falls on Monday, November 30, 2020.

Graveside service will be held on Monday, December 7, 2020 at 2:00 PM at St. Bernard's Catholic Cemetery with Father Rick Lambert presiding. Due to covid 19, the family will have a celebration at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Thief River Falls, MN in the spring of 2021 when it is safe to gather.

Tessie Catherine Narlock was born on August 22, 1917 in rural Warsaw, ND daughter of Theodore and Anna (Stigar) Narlock.

At age 16 Tessie was united in marriage to Walter P. Stoltman to whom she was married to for 41 years. They lived in Oslo, MN. 5 years after Walter's death she married Tony Urbanowich. They lived in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada for 17 years. Following Tony's death Tessie moved back to the United States.

During her years in Olso, Tessie had been a member of St. Joseph's Ladies Aide and the Royal Neighbors of America Organization.

After returning to the United States in 1997 Tessie resided in Crookston, MN for 5 years. Her last 18 years were spent in Thief River Falls, MN. Tessie was an avid reader, and after the children were gone she earned a GED High School Equivalency Degree from Oslo High School. Her favorite activity at this time of her life was swimming.

Tessie is survived by her 3 children Hilary P. Stoltman of Thief River Falls, MN, Cecilia A. Stoltman of Thief River Falls, MN and Ted (Jeannette) Stoltman of Thief River Falls, MN; 6 grandchildren: Roger Stoltman, Bonnie ( Larry) Kraft, Diane Stoltman, Steven (Valerie) Stoltman, Michelle Stoltman, Patricia (Martin) Pluth, 7 great-grandchildren: Jessica Stoltman, Reilly Stoltman, Kylie Kraft, Brody Kraft, Elizabeth Pulth, Griffin Pluth, Rebecca Pluth and 1 great-great grandchild: Noah Vennes. She is preceded in death by her parents, grandson James Stoltman, and three brothers John, Walter and Daniel and sister Helen Miller
