Theresa Morinville, 80, died on Friday, February 24, 2006 at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Red Lake Falls, MN.

Theresa Lucy Desautel was born on May 15, 1925 to Louis and Albina (Robidoux) Desautel in Brooks, MN. She was baptized on May 17, 1925 and confirmed on September 6, 1936 at St. Joseph Church in Brooks. She attended school in Brooks and after her mother died she moved to Minneapolis and worked at the St. Marys Convent.

Theresa was united in marriage to Emmitt Morinville on September 24, 1945 in Brooks, MN. The couple purchased a farm in Poplar River Township, near Brooks, where they spent their entire lives together.

Theresa enjoyed raising a large garden and she was awesome at sewing, crocheting and crafts. She enjoyed attending rummage sales. She had a gift of being able to keep her young family organized and working. After Emmitt retired, they enjoyed traveling around the country. She also enjoyed making apple pies for her husband and was proud of her children and their successes.

Theresa was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Brooks and the Guild.

Theresa is survived by 11 children: Gary (Maureen) Morinville, Valley Springs, SD and their children, Brenda and Todd; Sharon Ristvedt, Fargo, ND and her children, Blaine Blake and Brent; Wanda (Gary) Rebischke, Buffalo, MN and their children, Chad, Cari, Derek and Sara; Alden Morinville, Saudi Arabia and his children, Mark and Stacy; Phyllis (Bob) Melby, Oklee, MN and their children, Paul and Rachel; Colleen (David) Christianson, Riverton, WY and their children, Christina, Jessica, Joshua and Teri; Sylvia (John) Rogalla, Moorhead, MN and their children, Adam and Kaitlyn; Steven (Tammy) Morinville, Brooks, MN and their children, Craig, Tanya and Nick; Gail (Pat) Pueringer, Richfield, MN and their children, Theresa and Laura; Scott (Judy) Morinville, Brooks, MN and their children, Steven, Thomas and Mickala; and Keith (Wendy) Morinville, Boise, ID and their children, Seth and Cassandra; 19 great grandchildren; 1 brother Narcisse Desautel+, Idaho; 1 sister Laurie (Joseph) Neyes, Brooks, MN; 1 sister in law Martha Desautel, Bemidji, MN; and many nieces and nephews.

Theresa was preceded in death by her husband, Emmitt, on November 3, 2005; two grandsons, Ryan Melby and Jay Rogalla; her parents;
