Thomas "Tom" Bruggeman, 56, Jordan, MN passed away Wednesday August 22 after a three year fight with cancer.
A memorial service is scheduled for Thursday, August 30, 2007 at 11 AM at Johnson Funeral Home, Thief River Falls with Monsignor Timothy McGee presiding.
Tom was born in Thief River Falls on March 23, 1951. He served in the United States Navy as a boiler technician during the Vietnam War and was a Life Member of the VFW. He worked in the oil fields in the 1980s and moved to the Twin Cities in 1986, where he worked in the irrigation industry and most recently at Tractor Supply.
Tom loved to fish, play cards and watch sporting events, especially drag racing. He will be missed by his family and friends
He is survived by his daughter Carla Wing and son-in-law Robert, grandchildren Brittany and Brandon, Jordan, MN; son Jamie Bruggeman, daughter-in-law Shanda, grandson Brody Thomas, Jordan, MN; siblings: Vicky Bruggeman, New Brighton, MN; Ricky (Candy) Bruggeman, Trail, MN; Sally (Marty) Collins, Thief River Falls, MN; Becky (Shaun) Carlson, Thief River Falls, MN and Laurie Bruggeman, Ashland, WI.; nieces and nephews: Shelly Maki, Amy and John Bruggeman; Zack and Jake Collins; Cole Olson and Jenna Carlson; Jesse and Jordan Jagol; great nieces Briana and Sierra Maki.
He is preceded in dean by parents his parents Gresmond and Alfreda Bruggeman of Thief River Falls.
