Thomas Homme, born in Thief River Falls, MN, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at his son's home in Spanish Springs, NV.

Funeral service to celebrate Tom's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 11, 2017 at Bethany Lutheran Church, rural Thief River Falls, MN with Rev. Kristin Ostercamp officiating.  Burial will follow at Bethany Lutheran Cemetery, rural Thief River Falls, MN.

Visitation will be held one hour prior the funeral service on Friday, August 11, 2017 at Bethany Lutheran Church, rural Thief River Falls, MN.

Thomas Homme was born January 16, 1925 in Thief River Falls, MN, the son of Ole and Tori (Roysland) Homme (both of Valle, Norway).

Tom was united in marriage to Laverne Sales for 30 years.  The couple raised their five children in Juneau, AK.  The family moved back to Thief River Falls in 1980.

He was a veteran of World War II.  He was a charming man with a great sense of humor.  He had more energy than men half his age.  He enjoyed his life and loved spending time with his family and Chaweenie dog Lily.  His grandchildren loved his youthful spirit and adorned his silly sense of humor.

He is survived by his children Reinhard Seyff, Linda West, Roberta(Bobbie) Murtha, Mike Homme, Jeffrey Homme and Mark Homme; grandchildren, Kristine Homme, Norbert Seyff, Elisabeth Seyff, Cynthia Murtha, David Murtha, Hayley (West) Hubbard, Bret West, Ryan West, Britny Homme ,Kayla Homme, Taylor Homme, Sierra Homme, and Hunter Homme. Tom was also blessed with 8 great grandchildren.

Tom is preceded in death by his wife, Laverne; son, David Homme; his parents; brothers, Theodore, Gust, Obert, Clarence and Ole; sisters, Anne, Thora and Thelma and partner, Melda Marciniak.

Tom will be forever in our hearts!
