Tom Rindahl, of Goodridge, MN passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2015 at First Care Nursing in Fosston, MN. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 24, 2015 at Ekelund Lutheran Church rural Goodridge, MN with Reverend Robert Dahlen Officiating. Burial will be held at Little Oak Cemetery, Hickory Township, Pennington County, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church. Thomas Mervin Rindahl was born June 2, 1952 son of the late Mervin and Doris (Brovold) Rindahl at Thief River Falls, MN. Tom was baptized at Little Oak Church and confirmed at Ekelund Lutheran Church. He was raised in Star Township, Pennington County on the family farm. He attended school in Goodridge, graduating in 1970. Tom was a heavy equipment operator working for various contractors in Northwest, Minnesota. He also farmed with his brother Mark raising grain and cattle retiring 3 years ago due to ill health. Tom enjoyed hunting, fishing, 4 wheeling, operating his snow plane, snowmobiling, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Tom was a member of the Operating Engineers Local 49 and Ekelund Lutheran Church. He is survived by his siblings, Pam (Virgil) Prigge of Chisholm, MN, Mark (LuAnn) Rindahl of Goodridge, MN, Teri (Allan) Danielson of Gonvick, MN and Paul (Vicky) Rindahl of Goodridge, MN; nieces and nephews Carmen Langevin, Chris Prigge, Chad Danielson, Michelle (Allan) Patten, Amanda Rindahl, Matthew Rindahl, Sara Rindahl, Andy Rindahl and Ross Rindahl; several great-nieces and nephews. One aunt Audrey Siverson of Fosston, MN, special friend Ruth Hines of Brainerd, MN. He is preceded in death by his parents, infant twin brothers Donald and Thomas; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
