Tilda Byklum, 95, died on Thursday, July 12, 2007 at Thief River First Care Center in Thief River Falls, MN.

Funeral service will be at 2:30 P.M. on Thursday, July 19, 2007 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN with Reverend Mary Gilthvedt officiating. Burial will be in Our Saviors Cemetery, rural Grygla, MN.

Visitation will be from noon to 2:30 P.M. on Thursday at Johnson Funeral Service, prior to the service.

Torbjor Tilda Byklum was born on February 14, 1912 in Spruce Grove Township, Beltrami County, MN, the daughter of Ole T. and Thora (Nesland) Byklum. She was baptized and confirmed at Our Saviors Lutheran Church and attended Country School in Spruce Township, Beltrami County, MN.

Tilda was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church.

Tilda is survived by nieces and nephews: Linda (Wes) Skibicki of Thief River Falls, MN, Orvis (Marilou) Byklum of Grygla, MN, Richard Byklum of Grygla, MN, Delores Nerland of Chandler, AZ, and Wallace (Ann) Doeling of Portland, OR; several great nieces and nephews: and many great-great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Mae (Ed) Doeling and Gladys (Ed) Kolshus; and two brothers, Tellef Byklum and Ole Byklum, Jr.
