Tilla Johnsrud, 105, died on Friday, August 20, 2010 at the McIntosh Manor Nursing Home.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM, Monday, August 23, 2010 at Ekelund Lutheran Church, rural Goodridge, MN with Rev. Robert Dahlen officiating. Burial will follow in the Ekelund Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service at the church on Monday.

Tilda Tilla Maria Reindal was born on August 2, 1905 to Ben and Minnie (Florence) Reindal at Equality Township, Red Lake County, MN. She was baptized and confirmed in Lutheran Faith. She was united in marriage to Teloy Johnsrud on January 14, 1924 in Thief River Falls, MN at the courthouse. They lived in Star Township of Pennington County. She enjoyed gardening and could grow beautiful flowers. Tilla liked to have company and made sure they had coffee and cookies during their visits. She liked to bake and made wonderful flour lefse. Tilla liked her routine and kept an orderly and spotless house. The grandkids and great grandkids were treated special and enjoyed their time together.

Tillas husband died in 1992. She moved to McIntosh Manor on May 27, 1994.

Tilla is survived by her daughter in law: Delores Johnsrud, Goodridge, MN, 3 grandchildren: Jim (Kim) Johnsrud, Goodridge, MN, Jerry (Fern) Johnsrud, Goodridge, MN, Kathy (Ed Sabol) Haugen, Thief River Falls, MN, 9 great grandchildren: Crystelle (Brent) Philipp, Andrea (Javen) Eidsmoe, Kjell (Brandy Paulson) Johnsrud, Bradley (Rozlynn) Johnsrud, Clifton (Jena) Johnsrud, Carissa (Kory) Rasmusson, Jared Haugen, Jeremy Haugen, Patricia (Ben) Bren, 13 great great grandchildren: Emily, Ivan, Olivia, Elliot, Norah, Jordynn, Donald, Jennings, Carter Lee, Cash, Sophia, Thomas, and Landon, sister in law, Esther Rindahl, Fosston, MN.

She was preceded in death by her husband Teloy, son Robert, granddaughter Vicki Austad, three sisters: Emma Johnsrud, Anne Stenvik, Florence Stenvik, two brothers: Mervin and Orland.
