Tilmer Johnson, 94, died Friday, May 2, 2003 at Hillcrest Nursing Home, Red Lake Falls, MN.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 10, 2003 at Ebenezer Lutheran Church, Plummer, MN. Burial will be at Ebenezer Cemetery, Mayfield Township, Pennington County, MN.

Visitation will be 5 " 8 PM, Friday, May 9, 2003 at the Johnson Green Funeral Home, Thief River Falls, MN and for one hour prior to service at the church on Saturday.

Tilmer J. Johnson was born November 29, 1908 to the late John and Anna (Stayshaugen) Johnson. He was baptized and confirmed at Ebenezer Church. He attended country school near Plummer, MN and the Northwestern School of Agriculture in Crookston, MN. He later served on the country school board as treasurer until it closed.

He farmed his whole life in Mayfield Township, Pennington County, MN. Tilmer enjoyed traveling to Hawaii, Washington DC, Florida, and he also made a trip to Norway. Tilmer was a member of the Farmers Union, Ebenezer Church and the NFO.

He liked to dance, listen to music, play accordion and read. He entered Hillcrest Nursing Home in Red Lake Falls in September of 1995.

Tilmer is survived by sister Olga Konickson, Thief River Falls, MN; 2 nephews and 1 niece.

Preceded in death by parents, sister, Minnie Walhaug and brother, Palmer.
