Tom Schue, Lubbock, TX formerly Red Lake Falls, MN, age 61, died Friday December 9, 2016 at his residence with his loving family at his side.

A Funeral Mass for Tom Schue, 61, of Lubbock will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday December 15 ^th at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Fr. Malcolm Neyland officiating. A vigil service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday December 14 ^th at Sanders Funeral Home in Lubbock, TX. A second vigil will be held at 7:00 p.m. December 18 ^th at Johnson Funeral Home in Red Lake Falls, MN. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. December 19 ^th at St. Dorothy Cemetery in Dorothy, Minnesota.

Thomas Louis Schue was born February 24, 1955 in Minnesota to Louis and Violet Schue. He was raised in Red Lake Falls, MN and graduated from Red Lake Falls High School. He married Yvonne Marie Hoefer in 1974. They lived in Fargo, ND from 1976 to 1989. In 1989, they relocated to Lubbock and he took a position at University Medical Center in radiology, where he was most recently employed as the Administrative Director of Radiology.

Loved ones include his wife of forty-two years; daughter, Bridget Van Cleave and husband Tim of Denver, Colorado; son Jamie Schue and wife Leah of Austin, TX; daughter, Katie Trivett and husband Todd of Rogers, Arkansas; brothers, Rick, Tim, and Scott Schue; sisters, Kathy Stich, Joette Joy, Bobbie Miller, and Mary Gerardy; grandchildren, Wyatt and Levi Van Cleave; Maya, Ephraim, and Aziz Paprock-Schue; Hunter, Madison, Lexi, and Elijah Trivett.

Tom dedicated 27 years to University Medical Center and contributed 41 years to the radiology profession. He was a strong Christian, a teacher of the word of God, and was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. He was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was always the first to start games with the grandkids. He and Yvonne enjoyed hobby homesteading, cowboy cooking, and sharing time with friends and family.
