Tracey Larson of Thief River Falls, MN passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at the age of 46.

A memorial service honoring his life will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, May 9, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Service, Thief River Falls, MN. Interment will be at a later date at Viking Cemetery, Viking, MN.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Tracey Lee Larson was born on June 22, 1969 in Thief River Falls, MN, the s on of L. John and Carol (Iverson) Larson. He attended Lincoln High School in Thief River Falls, graduating in 1987.

After high school Tracey worked construction in Missouri where he met the mother of his children Hailey Marie Larson and Johnathon Lee Larson. They moved back to Minnesota and he started Larson Drywall. He loved the work he did and his kids. After that worked at Carol's Café and other construction and farming jobs.

Tracey loved to hunt and fish. He went on numerous hunting and fishing trips. He also loved camping, motor sports, cars, collecting collectables and spending time with his kids and family but most of all his best friend, his daughter Hailey.

Tracey will be remembered for his willingness to help anyone in need or just because. He had a big heart and will be greatly missed by many!

Tracey is survived by his loving daughters, Hailey (fiancé Michael Jorstad) Larson and Cheyenne Brown of Thief River Falls, MN; father, John Larson (wife Barb Larson) of Thief River Falls, MN; sister, Crystal Larson of Maple Grove, MN; niece, Ella Larson; step-children, Dustin Brown of Thief River Falls, MN, Trevor Brown of Thief River Falls, MN and Amber Brown of Red Lake Falls, MN, Scottie Helgeland, Warren, MN; his beloved dogs, Sparky and Fez.

Tracey is preceded in death by his mother Carol (Iverson) Larson, son Johnathon Lee Larson, and his life partner Twyla Brown.
