Traci Olson, 34, of Newfolden, MN died on Sunday, August 29, 2010 as the result of an automobile accident.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday, September 2, 2010 at Westaker Free Lutheran Church in Newfolden, MN with Pastor Phil Rokke officiating. Burial will follow at Bjorsness Cemetery rural Newfolden, MN.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a 7:00 PM prayer service on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN. Visitation will also be held from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM on Thursday at the church.

Traci Ann Olson was born as Oh-So Young on July 20, 1976 in Seoul, South Korea. She came to the United States on December 28, 1976 and was adopted the daughter of Jerry and Darlene (Efteland) Olson. She was baptized and confirmed at Westaker Free Lutheran Church in Newfolden, MN and attended the Heritage Christian School in Karlstad, MN where she graduated high school in 1994.

Growing up on the Olson family farm, Traci, being a gentle person, became very good working with the milk cows.

Following high school she worked at Subway, McDonalds, Pracs Institute, Loeffler Insurance Agency, Polaris, American Crystal, driving beet truck for area farmers, and for the last seven years has worked at Digi-Key in the warehouse.

Traci was a wonderful, loving, protective mother to her three daughters, Alexis (1996), Breanna (1999) and Cayli (2004). She was very involved in their lives and always enjoyed their activities. Next to her girls, Mike Conely was the love of her life. She and Mike liked to take the girls camping, sledding, biking and their most recent trip was to Valley Fair, where they all had a great time.

She enjoyed working with her flowers, plants, and trees; and loved making lefse and krumkake. Traci was a very independent person who was not afraid to speak her mind; especially if it was to protect her family or friends, whom she dearly loved. She was a truth seeker and did not like lies. Traci was a busy person who was rarely sitting still. She enjoyed catching up with old friends on Facebook over the past year.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Alexis, Breanna and Cayli all at home; parents, Jerry and Darlene Olson; brothers, Jarred (special friend, Sonja Grahn) Olson and Joshua (Heather) Olson; nieces and nephews, Cole, Adrienne, Landyn and Peytan all of Newfolden, MN; special friend, Mike Conely of Red Lake Falls, MN; God-Mothers, Marge Olson and Janice Grochow; and many other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents; and god-parents, Ray Austad and James Olson; and cousins, Tim Efteland, Wayne Grochow and Randy Haglund.
