Vicki Lynn Grove, a beloved daughter, partner, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away on February 22, 2026, in Thief River Falls, Minnesota. She was born on April 28, 1964, in Red Lake Falls, Minnesota, to Sherlen and Evangeline (Hince) Grove, who lovingly shaped her early years. Vicki was baptized into the Catholic faith and grew up in a nurturing environment that instilled in her the values of family and community.
She attended school in Plummer, Minnesota, where she forged friendships and created cherished memories that would last a lifetime. As she entered adulthood, Vicki found her heart's partner in Danny, with whom she built a beautiful life dedicated to family and love. Together, they raised their three sons—Michael, Corey, and Ryan—in the welcoming surroundings of Thief River Falls.
Vicki’s heart was as expansive as her warm smile. She treasured the time spent maintaining close connections with family and friends, often engaging in lengthy conversations that highlighted her caring nature. Her hobbies reflected her zest for life; she enjoyed camping trips that brought laughter and togetherness around the campfire, collecting Mickey Mouse memorabilia, and the occasional thrill of visiting the casino.
She was a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren: Gavin, Lily, Tiana, Emma, Corey Jr., Sophia, and Caleb, who brought immense joy to her life. Vicki’s love for her family was boundless, and her nurturing spirit will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
Vicki is survived by her partner Danny; her children Michael, Corey, and Ryan; grandchildren Gavin, Lily, Tiana, Emma, Corey Jr., Sophia, and Caleb; her siblings Scott (Becky) Grove, Rick Grove, Darrin (Penny) Grove, and Tammy (Jody) Benedick; brother-in-law Ralph Kimbro; along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and numerous cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Renee Kimbro and sister-in-law: Rachel. Vicki Grove leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and cherished memories that will continue to inspire her family and friends. As they navigate the days ahead, they carry her spirit with them, ensuring that her warmth and kindness will never be forgotten.
Graveside service will be at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Brooks, MN, at the end of April.
