Victor Keith Graf

June 17, 1968 – July 16, 2026

The sky was painted beautifully on the late afternoon of July 16 as Keith left this earthly world. With him, he leaves behind a legacy that is larger than life.

Keith was a loving husband to Tami, a dedicated brother to his twin, Kurt (Dani) and his big sister, Karen (Mark – deceased), and a proud father to Ashley and Colton. He was a loving stepfather to Blake (deceased), Derrick, and Chris; and the very best Poppy to Shawn, Katherine, Riley, Todd and Reagan.

He was a proud uncle to Billy (deceased), Nathan, Hannah, Hunter, Danielle, Brittany (Jake), Gillian, Alexis, Megan (Maverick), Gabe, Delanie, Ethan, Ashton, Jacksen, Dylan, and Lilly. He was also a brother-in-law to Ginger, Amy (Darin), Jenni (Sam), and Shelli (Tony), Donna Jo, and Jennifer; a son-in-law to Jan and Brad, and Ken and Jane; and a brother to his fellow Nam Knights and brothers and sisters in arms.

Born and raised in Kirkwood, Missouri, to the late Bill and Montie Graf, alongside his twin brother, Kurt, and big sister, Karen, Keith was always destined for greatness and was louder than life. From being a star football player and state wrestling qualifier for Kirkwood High School to playing the bass drum as loud as he could with the Kirkwood High School Marching Band, his mark would be left.

Keith joined the Army in 1987 and was stationed at Fort Bragg. In 1993, he went into the Reserves and attended the Police Academy in Northeast Ohio. In 1998, he became active duty once again and moved back to Fort Bragg with his wife, Victoria, and daughter, Ashley, with son Colton on the way.

He served multiple Combat deployments, including Operation Desert Shield, Operation Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom. He received several military honors, to include the Purple Heart, the Bronze Star, and the Army Commendation Medal. Keith was proud to serve with the 82nd Airborne as a Military Police Sniper. He retired from the military in 2017.

In 2013, he married his loving wife, Tami, and together they shared a beautiful life full of travel, adventure, and unforgettable memories.

If you knew Keith, to say you were lucky is an understatement. His legacy will carry on through his wife, his children, his grandchildren, and every single person who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at the American Legion Post #117 in Thief River Falls, MN.
