Victoria Wishard Myers, 49, died on Friday, November 16, 2007 at her home in Crookston, MN.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at the Lund Lutheran Church in Gully, MN with Rev. Mike Sletto officiating. Burial will follow in the Lund Cemetery in Gully, MN.

Visitation will be 5-7 PM on Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at the Johnson Funeral Service in Oklee, MN with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM. Visitation will also be held for one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.

Victoria Vickie Lee Wishard was born on December 4, 1957 to Vera Takenalive at Little Eagle, SD. She was adopted on June 15, 1958 by Bud and Irene Wishard. She was baptized at the First Baptist Church in Timber Lake, SD. She grew up on the Wishard ranch 11 miles southwest of Little Eagle on Little Oak Creek. She attended First grade at the country chapel school. Her second grade was at McLaughlin, SD school. She then moved with her family to Trail, MN in 1968 where she went to school in Oklee, MN.

On October 30, 1976, Vickie married Timothy Myers. They lived near Gully, MN. To this union three children were born. Vickie loved her sons very much, as they were the light of her life. She was a loving and kind-hearted person. She enjoyed watching sports of all kinds. As a young girl, she enjoyed riding her horse across the hills on the ranch.

Vickie is survived by two sons: Sherlin and Nolan Myers, 4 grandsons: Tristen, Donoven, Jace, and Landen, parents Bud & Irene Wishard, Trail, MN; one brother El-Rio Wishard, Trail, MN; foster brother Bruce (Julie) Oehlke, Cambridge, MN; and several nieces and nephews.

Vickie was preceded in death by one infant son Aaron Arthur. She will lay to rest beside him in the Lund Cemetery of Gully, MN.
