Vincent Horachek, 52, of Thief River Falls, MN passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at his home in Thief River Falls, MN.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 11:00 AM in Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls with Reverend Kristin Ostercamp Officiating. Burial will follow at the Bohemian Cemetery Czech National at rural Goodridge, MN. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.

Vincent Edward Horachek was born December 28, 1964 in Thief River Falls, MN son of George and Donna (Lee) Horachek. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Ann's Catholic Church. He grew up in Goodridge, MN and attended school there. Vince lived in Arizona, Texas and Minnesota where he enjoyed multiple careers such as farming, backhoe operator, OTR semi driver, printer press operator, manufacturing and really enjoyed working at Arctic Cat for the past 3 years.

Vince was once married to Linda Creek Horachek and Cherylynn Nelson Horachek.

Vince enjoyed carpentry, restoring old farm equipment, fishing, hunting, bike riding and gardening while enjoying an ice cold Budweiser.

He is survived by his mother Donna of Goodridge, MN; siblings Katherine Siverling of Stevens Point, WI, Beverly Horachek of Minneapolis, MN, Douglas Horachek of Goodridge, MN, John Horachek, Valarie Newton of Warren, MN; step-children Scott Creek, Stacy and Stephanie Loken; many nieces and nephews; uncle Emery Lee and aunts Beatrice Smith and Eleanor Horachek.

Preceded in death by his father George Horachek, brothers Ronald Horachek and Gregory Horachek; step-son John Creek, many aunts and uncles.
