Viola Vaudrin, 94, of Red Lake Falls, MN died on Thursday, July 20, 2000 at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Red Lake Falls, MN. Arrangements with Johnson Funeral Service in Red Lake Falls, MN.

Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2000 at 10:30 AM in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Red Lake Falls with Father Tim Bushy Officiating. Burial will be held in the St. Joseph Church Cemetery at Red Lake Falls, MN.

Visitation will be held on Friday, from 5 " 8 PM with a 7:00 PM prayer service at Johnson Funeral Service in Red Lake Falls and also one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.

Viola Susan Beauchine was born July 23, 1905 daughter of the late Felix and Marie (Lizotte) Beauchine at Huot, MN. On May 28, 1929 she was united in marriage to Orphier Vaudrin in Dorothy, MN. The couple lived and farmed in the Red Lake Falls area all of their lives. Orphier passed away August 25, 1984 and Viola has resided at the Hillcrest Nursing home in Red Lake Falls since March 21, 1994.
She has been active member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church since 1943, belonged to the St. Joseph Guild, the Catholic Daughters and the Catholic Order of Foresters. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, gardening and canning.
Viola is survived by her children Larry (Nancy) Vaudrin of Red Lake Falls, MN; Dwain (Dorothy) Vaudrin of Coon Rapids, MN and Carol (Philip) Amiot of Blaine, MN eleven grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Sister Alice Raymond of Crookston, MN, son-in-law Jim Seifert of Edina, MN, two sisters-in-law Annette Audette of Red Lake Falls, MN and Solange Radke of Crookston, MN; brother-in-law Maurice Vaudrin of Grand Rapids, MN.
She is preceded in death by her husband Orphier, daughter Monica Seifert, granddaughter Susan Amiot Majerus, four brothers Medy Beauchine, Victor Beauchine, bro. Leo Beauchine and Alton Beauchine and one sister Rose Roi.
