Violet Schue, 88, of Fargo, ND formerly of Red Lake Falls, MN passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 11:00 AM in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Red Lake Falls, MN with Father Bill DeCrans Officiating. Burial will be held at the St. Dorothy Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Violet Mae Schue was born February 11, 1927 daughter of the late Etta Mae (Casmey) and Albert W. Teal in Crookston, MN. She attended grade school in Euclid and graduated from Crookston High School in 1944. After high school she was employed as a secretary/book keeper for Polk County National Farm Loan Association in Crookston, MN. Vi was united in marriage to Louis Francis Schue June 19, 1947 in Dorothy, MN. She was employed as a secretary by Inter-County Nursing Service for Red Lake/Pennington counties for 26 years at the Red Lake County Courthouse. Vi was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, St. Joseph Ladies Guild, Girl Scout Leader, Boy Scout Leader, and Royal Neighbors. Vi moved from Red Lake Falls to Fargo, ND in 1994 with her husband Louie. Vi enjoyed spending time with family, friends, wintering in Alamo, TX, playing phase 10, and doing endless cross word puzzles. Vi was blessed with 8 children, 20 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by Kathy (Pete) Stich of Red Lake Falls, MN, Joette (Cal) Joy of Spearfish, SD, Rick (Deb) Schue of Fargo, ND, Tom (Yvonne) Schue of Lubbock, TX, Tim (Ruth) Schue of Port Orchard, WA, Bobbie (Tim) Miller of Coon Rapids, MN, Mary (Pete) Gerardy of Fargo, ND and Scott (Yvette) Schue of Andover, MN. She is also survived by her sister Etta (Bernie) Schue of Bismarck, ND, sister-in-law Alice Delorme of Red Lake Falls, MN as well as many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Louis, grandson Louie Stich, parents Albert and Etta; brothers Orville, Everette, and Alvin; sisters Dorothy Dubuque and Lois Piker.
