Virginia Jasnoch, 63, died Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at her home in Thief River Falls, MN.

Memorial service will be 11 AM, Friday, October 17, 2008 at Johnson Funeral Service, Thief River Falls, MN with Reverend Frank Ehling officiating. Burial of ashes will be at St. Bernards Catholic Cemetery, Thief River Falls.

Virginia Mae Jasnoch was born May 26, 1945 at home in Middle River, MN, the daughter of Frank and Bertha (Eilers) Jasnoch. She was baptized at St. Josephs Catholic Church, Middle River, MN and confirmed at St. Bernards, Thief River Falls. Virginia lived in Middle River until the age of 5 and then moved along with her family to Thief River Falls. She graduated from Lincoln High School, Thief River Falls in 1963.

She was a homemaker and care giver for her mother for many years. She loved cats, flowers, shopping, the outdoors, taking pictures and laughing, since she had a good sense of humor. She especially loved spending time with family and grandchildren.

Virginia is survived by 2 children: Jeff (Shirley) Nelson, Loganville, GA and Kari (David) Majer, Middle River, MN; 7 grandchildren: Kyle, Braden, Bailey and Kyra Majer, Heather Burris, Mike Brown and Jessica Hamilton; mother, Bertha Jasnoch, Thief River Falls, MN; 4 brothers and sisters: Gary (Alberta) Jasnoch, Sunbury, OH, Stanley (Sandy) Jasnoch, Minneapolis, MN, Marilyn Cullen, Goodridge, MN and Shirley (Roy) Stengrim, Newfolden, MN.

She was preceded in death by father, Frank Jasnoch.
