Wade Longtin, 22, died on Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at his home in rural Thief River Falls, MN.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, February 5, 2007 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Plummer, MN with Reverend Jonathan Dodson officiating. Burial will be in Emardville Cemetery, Plummer, MN.

Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 4, 2007 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Plummer, MN with a 3:00 P.M. Prayer service on Sunday afternoon and also at the church for one hour prior to the service on Monday.

Wade Donald Longtin was born on December 5, 1984 in Thief River Falls, MN, the son of Donald Marvin and Karen Helen (Torkelson) Longtin. He was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church and attended Elementary School in Plummer, graduating from Red Lake County High School in 2003. Wade was an honor student, captain of the football team and enjoyed playing Chess and participating in Chess Tournaments. While in high school, Wade attended Northland Community College in Thief River Falls.

He worked at Cenex Harvest States in Warren, MN and was currently working at the Sunflower Plant in Hazel, MN. Wade enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, playing video games and cards, especially Texas Holdem . He loved spending time with his family.

Wade is survived by his father, Donald Longtin of Plummer, MN; one brother, Lonnie (Michele) Longtin of Plummer, MN; two sisters: Geraldine Toots (Terry) Hunt of Thief River Falls, MN and Jodi (Jason) Douville of Twin Valley, MN; seven nieces and nephews: Cole and Caitlyn Hunt, Kevin, Ashley and Christopher Longtin and Prestin and Tanner Douville; and his cat Charlie .

He was preceded in death by his mother, Karen Longtin on May 24, 2004; his grandparents; and his cousin, Mark Anderson.
