Wendell W. Olson, 82, died Saturday, April 5, 2003 at Northwest Medical Center in Thief River Falls, MN.

Services will be held at 4:00 PM Wednesday, April 9, 2003 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Thief River Falls, MN with Rev. John Wollenzien and Rev. Tim Bauer officiating.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday, April 8, 2003 with a 7:00 PM prayer service at Johnson-Green Funeral Home in Thief River Falls. Visitation will also be held for one hour prior to services Wednesday at the church.

Wendell W. Olson was born February 15, 1921 in Warren, MN the son of Alfred and Louise (Olson) Olson. He is a Lincoln High School graduate from Thief River Falls and also a graduate of the University of Minnesota Mortuary Science Program.

Wendell is married to Aileene Gulbranson and is a life long resident of Thief River Falls, except for the time he service in the United States Army.

He is a member of American Legion Ecklund-Holmstrom Post #117 and the Lions Club in Thief River Falls.

Survivors include his wife, Aileene Shorty Olson of Thief River Falls; son, Larry (DeAnna) Olson of Upland, CA; daughter, Nancy Olson of Eagle River, AK; and grandson, Marc of San Francisco, CA.

His parents precede him in death.
