Obituary

Wylma Radniecki, 85, died Friday, November 22, 2002 at Northwest Medical Center, Thief River Falls, MN.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2002 at 10:30 AM in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Oklee, MN with Father John Kleinwachter Officiating and Father Joe Richards Concelebrating. Burial will be held in the St. Francis Xavier Cemetery at Oklee.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 5 " 8 PM with a 7:00 PM prayer service and also one hour prior to services on Tuesday all at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Oklee.
Wylma H. Stromberg was born December 5, 1916 at Rosewood, MN daughter of the late Peter and Hilma (Carlson) Stromberg. She was baptized into the Catholic Faith in 1939 at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church in Plummer. Wylma graduated from Lincoln High School in Thief River Falls in 1934. On September 26, 1939 she was united in marriage to Casimir (Cobb) Radniecki at St. Vincent DePaul Church in Plummer, MN. The couple lived most of their life on their farm in Deer Park Township. They moved around with Cobbs job in construction, living in San Diego, CA, Buenos Aires, Argentina, San Francisco, CA, Buffalo, NY, Alexandria Bay, NY, Niagara Falls, NY, Aitkin, MN and Gary, Indiana. The last 33 years they have lived in Oklee, MN.
Wylma was proud of being a twin and so proud of having twin great-grandchildren, was a member of the bowling team Country Gals, was a member of the Farmers Union and the Deer Park Homemakers Club and was very active in St. Francis Xavier Church and St. Anns Society, was a bus driver, 4-H leader, enjoyed knitting, family get-togethers at Lake of the Woods, ice fishing, traveling, attending the Norsk Hostfest for 17 consecutive years, family anniversaries and birthdays for the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family loved her Grandma salads and coffee cake. Her husband and family were extremely important to her. She always put them first.
Survivors include her husband Cobb of Oklee, daughters Bonnie (Don) Berg of Erskine, MN; Mary Ann (Richard) Lambert of Oklee, MN and son Michael (Mary) Radniecki of Fargo, ND. Grandchildren Michelle (Mark) Jorgenson, Sherri Haugen, Jodi (Danny) Lee, Nicole (James) Juve, Carl (Rosalyn) Berg, Kevin Berg, Eric Berg, Kristin Lambert and special friend Bill Willis, Debbie (Kevin) Amiot, Trini (Brian) Cyr, Scott (Shannon) Lambert, Nathan Lambert and special friend Bambi Owens, Tim Lambert, Cindy Lambert and special friend Pat ONeill, Scott Radniecki and Sarah Radniecki. Great-grandchildren Ashley and Tyler Jorgenson, Brandon and Zachary Haugen, Cody and Brittany Lee, Shannon, Paula and Kayla Juve, Jacob and Braeden Berg, Kadie and Ryan Amiot, Jedre, Jaret and Jocylin Cyr, Devin and Connor Lambert. One sister Vivian Gable of San Diego, CA, her twin brother Willard (Myrtle) Stromberg of Red Lake Falls, MN: brothers-in-law Roman (Elaine), Virgil (Therese), Dick (LaVonne) Sisters-in-law Catherine (Roy) Jorgenson, Clara Radniecki, Sybil Radniecki and Violet Radniecki also many nephews and nieces. Wylma is preceded in death by her parents, brother Wallace and two infant grandsons.
