Yvonne Good, 59, died on Saturday, December 15, 2007 in rural Oklee, MN.
Funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, December 21, 2007 at Nazareth Lutheran Church, Trail, MN with Reverend Abrahamson officiating. Burial will be in Nazareth Lutheran Cemetery, Trail, MN.
Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 20, 2007 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN with 7:00 P.M. Prayer Service on Thursday evening and also at the church for one hour prior to the service on Friday.
Yvonne Janice Good was born on April 13, 1948 in Red Lake, MN, the eldest of 12 children, to Bert and Irene (Hanson) Good. She was baptized and confirmed at Nazareth Lutheran Church in Trail and attended Rosenook District 10, Oklee Public School and Northwest School of Agriculture in Crookston, MN.
She worked for the Health Department in Minneapolis, MN, personal care for the elderly and also managed a business in Yankton, SD. Yvonne enjoyed spending time and caring for her dad during the last years of her life. She was best known for her generosity and being a Good Samaritan to the friend and the stranger alike.
Yvonne is survived by one daughter, Tina Romo of Crookston; three grandchildren: Ricci Kay Day and Corinna Day of Iowa and John Romo of Iowa; her father, Bert Good of Trail, MN; mother and step father, Irene and Clyde Bendickson of Lavina, MT; special friend, Robert Lubega of Oklee, MN; brothers: Quinten (Cathy) Good of Trail, MN, Roger (Lori) Good of Gully, MN and Kirk (Natalie) Good of Wasilla, AL; sisters: Patricia Good of Roseville, MN, Karen Good of Trail, MN, Ramona Good of Sioux City, IA, Leona Good of Lincoln, NE, Valerie (Ron) Free of Billings, MT, Bonny (Chuck) Harris of Hillsboro, OR, Dawn (Brandon)Smith of Liberty Lake WA, Diane (Steve)Collins of Lincoln, NE; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Shawn; and niece, Lara Stewart.
